CAESAR is developing (Q)SARs as non-animal alternative tools for the assessment of chemical toxicity under the REACH.

CAESAR is innovative in its perspective and relevant to the large number of chemicals that will need assessment under REACH. Thousands of predictive models have been published in recent years but typically they are not suitable for regulatory purposes, because they have not taken into account essential factors for validation or quality assurance.

CAESAR includes all high quality factors needed to make the use of (Q)SARs acceptable for regulatory purposes.
